Description
A part synonymous with PRR (and later PC/CR) equipment is the 3-strap cab signal box. This is a huge box, applied to the front walkway that held the cab signal relays. These boxes are mounted on rubber isolators, which are in turn mounted to a piece of angle iron welded to the top of the deck. Includes styrene to use for the conduit into the nose, as well as a drill jig, which doubles as a spacer to correctly set the proper distance off of the hood.
