Description

Prime Manufacturing began offering a line of horns in 1972 that were direct clones of Leslie SuperTyfons – so much so that the parts were interchangeable! The PM-920 is a clone of the Leslie S3L chord. Prime horns are recognizable as being more heavy duty – with thicker castings all around, round flanges where the bells meet the manifold and extra support ribs on the bells.   This version of the PM-920 is a Missouri/Union Pacific specific version used on the GE C36-7’s delivered in 1985.  The horn is mounted on a 6″ round riser, and has the large bell reversed in the center.  2 Per Package.

Bells: (Prime) 25, 31, 44
Manifold: Low Profile, 6″ Round Riser
Era: 1985+

GR&M horns are printed in a semi-flexible resin that requires specific instructions. Be sure to view our horn instruction sheet and users guide here.
