Description
Catalogued by Leslie as the “Universal” manifold, this was also known as the ultra-low profile manifold. Lore has it, the U manifold was originally developed for use on the EMD GP30’s, introduced in 1961. The U manifold was a 3 chime; however, it was offset to one side, with the outermost bell angled down, allowing greater clearances. The U manifold horn designations get very muddy, so we are going to keep them simplified for the catalog.
This version of the SU-3L-LF has tab back power chambers, and the 25 bell on the left side. 2 Per Package.
