Description
The “J” horn was part of Leslie’s initial offering of 3 chime horns in 1952. The horn uses the original high manifold, which was very narrow, as well as having the center bell raised up higher. This horn used bells #277, #330 and #440, with the larger #277 being two-piece construction, none of which have the large Leslie name blocks on the sides. Tab back power chambers are used. This version is a more “traditional” reversal, with the #440 reversed in the center. PRR (well into PC) was a large user of these, but they also showed up on LV, B&M, Rutland and some others. Two per pack.
Bells: #277, #330, #440
